"Gangu" Model Kit Magazine
This is a project I made a year ago for a design class. The project was to create a magazine cover, a contents page, a 2-pagse story, and two advertisements that go along with the magazine's theme. For my theme, I choice to do it on model kits. For the magazine cover, I did it based on a popular Japanese animation called Gundam. You can see the 2-pages story is also about Gundam. As for the two ads, I did one for lego, because it is toy related, and one for an action figure from an animation called One Piece.
Vader Pops Cereal Template
This was a cereal template I created for a class. The back of the cereal box is a comic; the buyer has the option of cutting it out and save it for a collection. A new comic will come out every two/three weeks, to promote sumerism . Many art lesson can be found on one side of the box, which teaches the buyer to draw different characters from this brand. Again, every two/three week, the character will change, and you'll be able to learn how to draw different characters.
Sushi Ray Business Card
This business card was created for Sushi Ray Japanese Restaurant as a school project. A pair of chopstick is hanging over the word "Sushi", to show the chopstick is picking up a piece of sushi. The letter u and s from the word sushi is in different color, is to represent pick up the sushi from us, sushi ray.
Phantom of the Opera Event Poster
These Phantom of the Opera posters were made for a school project. I like to try new ideas. Phantom of the opera's poster always have very similar ideas; either contains the phantom's mask against a plain black background; or a rose with blood over them. So for my poster, I decided to use candles with the phantom mask hanging over it. No one pays attention, but candles played a very important role in the Phantom of the Opera; candles can be quite scary sometime. As a designer, we need to try new things and find new ways to create different posters, otherwise we will be using the same ideas that other designers already used.

Restaurant Ads
These ads were made for a school project. The first poster was made for a restaurant named "Sushi #1", the message from the poster is very clear; Sushi #1 sells their fresh sushi for very cheap price. The second poster was created for a Japanese hibachi restaurant called "Japanese Village Steak House". The picture contains a very friendly hibachi chef posting for the camera, with all kinds of hibachi food on the grill, showing the viewers their friendly service and their large choice of menu. The third menu was made for The Cheesecake Factory. We can see that Cheesecake Factory sells all kinds of items; good appetizers, main course, wonderful dessert, and a full liquor bar.

Christmas Gift ad
Supermarket Ads
These two ads were made for the supermarkets: Soulard Farmers Market and Hudson Farmers Market. They contain a plain white background, the company logo, a picture, and a single sentence for description. The company's website is on the bottom. It is a simple design with a very straight forward meaning.
